Brother Eli Tovagonze is a member of the Catholic Brotherhood of the S.C.I.M Brothers, based in Tosamaganga, Tanzania. The chairman of Freunde der Endarofta e.V., David Schellhaas, met Brother Eli in 2014. At that time, Brother Eli was working as a teacher at Endarofta Secondary. In 2018, he was sent by his brotherhood to study radiology in Mwanza. During his studies, he became aware of the difficult situation in Ibondo and, together with his brothers, founded the Ibondo Education Center. Today, he works full-time as a radiologist for the brothers at a hospital. He also looks after our projects in Ibondo.

Sister Sindano belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Mother of the Redeemer in the Diocese of Mbulu in the Manyara Region of Tanzania. She joined the community in 2006, where she took her vows as a sister in 2018.

Before entering the community, she completed a tailoring program at the Imani Vocational Training Center. She later studied education at St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) in Mwanza. She initially worked as a tailor in her community and later taught for two years at Imboru Secondary School.

Since October 2023, she has served as principal of Endarofta Secondary School, appointed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Mbulu. We have known Sister Sindano since 2023 and have remained in close contact ever since. Together, we are working on projects to support Endarofta Secondary School.
